By Car

- From St Clears, Carmarthen, South Wales & England
- From Tenby & Kiln Park
- From Fishguard, Haverfordwest & Bluestone
- Travel west on the M4 until Junction 49 (Pont Abraham Services).
- Take the second exit onto the A48 towards Carmarthen.
- Once in Carmarthen, at the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A40 W towards St Clears. At the second roundabout, take the 1st exit, continuing on the A40.
- At St Clears, take the 1st exit onto the A477 towards Tenby.
- Stay on the A477 and follow the signs to Pembroke Dock.
- Turn left onto the A4075 signposted for Pembroke.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A4139, and follow the heritage signs to the castle.
- Head west from Tenby on the A4139 to Pembroke.
- Turn right at Tenby Leisure Centre onto Clickett Lane and follow the B4318 to Sageston.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A477 and follow the signs to Pembroke Dock.
- Turn left onto the A4075 signposted for Pembroke.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A4139, and follow the heritage signs to the castle.
Please note: there is a toll to cross the Cleddau Bridge.
- From Fishguard, follow the A40 to Haverfordwest.
- At the Withybush roundabout, take the 2nd exit, and again at the next rounabout to stay on the A40.
- At the Scotchwell Roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Haverfordwest town.
- At Salutation Square, take the 2nd exit onto the A4076 (Freemens Way).
- At Merlin's Bridge Roundabout, take the 2nd exit, continuing on the A4076 onto Dredgeman Hill.
- At Sunnycroft, take the 1st exit onto the A477.
- At the Waterloo Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto London Road.
- Turn right onto the A4139 which will take you through Pembroke Town.
- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit, and follow the heritage signs to the castle.
Pembroke Train Station is a 15 minute walk from the Castle. Turn left when leaving the station car park, and carry on straight through Pembroke's Main Street until you reach the Castle.

There is a bus stop directly outside the Castle Entrance, with the following services running:
- 348 - Haverfordwest - Monkton via Johnston & Pembroke Dock
- 349 - Haverfordwest - Tenby
- 356 - Milford Haven - Monkton via Pembroke Dock

Our closest ferry terminal is Pembroke Port. There are 2 daily crossings from Rosslare to Pembroke via Irish Ferries, and also from Rosslare to Fishguard via Stenaline. For car routes from Fishguard to Pembroke Castle, see above.
Parking
Although there is no on-site parking available at the Castle, there is plenty of public parking within a short walking distance. For disabled visitors, please be aware that there is a drop-off point at the Castle entrance, and disabled parking available directly opposite the castle in the Long Entry car park (turn right before the zebra crossing).
