Join Dr Thomas Asbridge, historian, author, and TV presenter, for his talk on William Marshal: The Greatest Knight, followed by a book-signing.
Dr Thomas Asbridge is a medieval historian specialising in the study of knighthood and the crusades, and the author of six books, including the international bestseller, The Greatest Knight: The Remarkable Life of William Marshal, the Power Behind Five English Thrones (2015). Dr Asbridge also wrote and presented the BBC Two documentary The Greatest Knight: William Marshal, part of which was filmed in Pembroke Castle.
The talk will begin at 19:00 in Western Hall, and last for approx. 50 minutes, followed by questions and book-signing.
