This event is free with castle admission and does not need to booked in advance.

Experience and learn about life in the past!  Join us on one of our Living History weekends to see authentic dress, and informative demonstrations of food and crafts of the age, and staged battles.  Please see below for our Living History schedule.

 

Sat 13- Sun 14 April

The Sealed Knot

Learn about the life of a 17th Century soldier during the English Civil War.  Throughout the day there will be demonstrations of arms, weaponry and marching.  They also love to talk to visitors from the 21st Century so please ask them lots of questions!

***Please note that the Living History weekend on Sat 20-Sun 21 April will no longer be going ahead. In its place, we will have falconry displays from West Wales Falconry from 11am. The flying displays will take place at 12:30 & 15:30.***

Experience 12th-13th century Britain, with specific focus on William Marshal for our William Marshal Festival.
