Included in our admission price is a free guided tour, which runs daily at selected times through the year.
Guided Tours are a great way to really find out about the history and stories behind Pembroke Castle. Allow one of our knowledgeable guides to bring the castle to life and you'll discover much more than a history book can tell you!
Our tours take place in an outdoor setting and at ground level so are very accessible. Tour times vary depending on the time of year you are visiting, and are listed in the table below.

No you just need to go into the castle and meet the guide by the Gatehouse.
Nothing, the tours are included in castle entry.
Yes well behaved dogs, kept on short leads are welcome to join a tour.
Around an hour depending on which guide is on duty and factors such as the weather. Our visitors are welcome to join or leave at any time during the tour.
Absolutely, our Guides love children on the tour and do their best to keep it interesting for them.
Most of the tour is normally outdoors, however, if it rains the guides will have some areas where the tour can continue with some shelter.
Yes, the guides will always try to assess the ability of the least mobile member of the group.
