Pembroke Castle’s annual Rock The Castle weekend saw almost 6,000 concert-goers enjoy some amazing live performances from a stellar line-up of musical legends.
Now in its sixth year, Rock The Castle’s line-up was bigger and better than ever. The weekend kicked off with a sell-out crowd enjoying Dr Feelgood, followed by local rock icon, Bonnie Tyler, and the evening’s headliners Status Quo. The audience was in high spirits and good voice as hit after hit after hit filled Pembrokeshire’s historic landmark.
On Saturday the sun shone as the crowd were wowed by new singer, songwriter Jazz Morley, then enjoyed a hit filled set from Gabrielle. Finally, the hits just kept on coming when Sister Sledge delivered an energetic and fun filled performance, which included pulling a member of the audience up on stage to dance with the girls and their outstanding band.
Castle Manager Jon Williams commented ‘the team here always enjoy delivering the concert weekend, despite it being a huge mental and physical effort, but it makes it all worthwhile when we get a response from the public and the performers like we did this weekend’
